This was a project to design and engineer a motorized and propelled device to turn a swimming pool into a treadmill for training and fitness.

The Project included conceptual designs, 3D modeling, engineering, prototyping and testing.
​
* Personal work completed at past or previous consultancy.
Throughout the project a number of designs were considered and ultimately the location of the propellers pared with the volume of water required impacted the final form.
​
Due to the name Orkus, we designed the housing to look and feel like the body of an Orcus whale.
